How we fulfil orders for custom-made products
These terms apply to products manufactured according to the individual specification of the customer or dealer. Every product configured with the TUNEUP tool is manufactured to order, according to the equipment and color configuration you have chosen.
By using TUNEUP, and in particular by sending an order to a dealer, you confirm that you have read these terms and accept them.
Product configuration
TUNEUP allows you to choose the colors of individual product elements and the available equipment options, and to personalize the product with embroidery or print. Your BCD is then sewn from scratch, according to the configuration you have prepared.
You can change the configuration freely until the order is sent to the dealer.
On-screen product visualization
The 3D model of the product presented in TUNEUP has been prepared on the basis of 3D scans of the actual set and its components, in order to reproduce the appearance of the finished product as faithfully as possible. However, it is a computer visualization, so there may be slight differences in shape, in the placement of individual elements (e.g. D-rings) and in the texture of the materials.
The colors visible on screen may differ from the actual ones, among other things due to display settings and the limitations of color reproduction in the RGB model. Differences in shade may also occur between elements made of different materials, e.g. the Cordura wing shell and the lining, even if you choose the same color for them in the configurator. This results from the natural properties of textile materials.
Ceramic Shield coatings
Due to the nature of Ceramic Shield coatings, small, point-like irregularities may occur on their surface. These are a natural feature of this type of finish and do not affect the functional or protective properties of the coating.
The gloss level of Ceramic Shield coatings may vary considerably depending on the color – from a matte finish, through semi-gloss, to high gloss. Slight differences in gloss may also occur between elements from different production batches.
The shade of the Ceramic Shield coating may differ from the shade of other elements of the set in the same color, especially if they are made of different materials. This also applies to comparison with the colors visible in the TUNEUP visualization.
Personalization guidelines
TUNEUP allows you to personalize the product by placing a text of your choice on it. We reserve the right to refuse personalization without giving a reason. In such a case, you may opt out of personalization or cancel the order.
The text may not contain:
- Profanities, words commonly considered offensive, or their abbreviations or similar-sounding equivalents;
- Full names and nicknames of well-known people, including public figures and celebrities;
- Registered trademarks, brand names, slogans or other designations belonging to third parties;
- Phrases that could negatively affect the image of the XDEEP brand or of the product on which they are to be placed.
By sending the order to the dealer or manufacturer, you confirm that the chosen text complies with the above guidelines and that you have the right to use it.
Product sale and price
The seller of the product is the authorized XDEEP dealer (shop) with whom you place the order. TUNEUP is a tool provided by XDEEP that allows you to prepare an individual equipment configuration. The purchase itself and sales handling take place through the dealer.
The product price depends on the selected configuration options and, in some cases, also on the colors of individual elements or the prints applied. Additional fees may be added to the price, e.g. for production according to an individual specification.
The total price resulting from the currently selected configuration, together with all fees charged by TUNEUP, is displayed as the SRP (Suggested Retail Price). The price is given in the currency of the country selected when creating the configuration.
The SRP does not take into account any discounts or additional fees applied by the dealer. The final purchase price may therefore differ from the price indicated in the configurator and is set by the shop with which you place the order.
Prices of products and additional services may change over time. If several days have passed since the configuration was prepared, we recommend generating the order form again using your e-mail address and individual configuration code.
Changes to the order
Every product configured in TUNEUP is made individually, according to your specification. Since production is based on the approved configuration, no changes to it are possible once the order form has been sent to the dealer.
IMPORTANT: Your product configuration is stored in our electronic system. The order form is only a confirmation of it. Do not make handwritten corrections on it, as they will not be taken into account during production.
Order lead time
After receiving the order from the dealer, we will start producing your product. You can check the status of your order at any time using the TUNEUP tool by entering your individual configuration code and the e-mail address used when creating it. If you have any doubts or are not sure whether the dealer has passed the order on to us, send a message to biuro@xdeep.pl and we will do our best to provide you with information as soon as possible.
The standard production time is 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of the order from the dealer. If the express option is selected, this time is shortened to about 2 weeks from acceptance of the order for processing.
Once production is complete, we will ship your product to the dealer who, depending on your arrangements, will notify you that it is ready for collection upon receipt of the shipment or will send the product to you. In some cases, the set will be shipped directly from us.
In exceptional situations, e.g. with a high number of orders, express processing may prove impossible. In such a case, cancelling the order after production has started will not be possible, but the additional fee for the express service will be refunded to you and the order will be processed within the standard lead time of 4 to 6 weeks.
Returns
Every BCD configured in TUNEUP is manufactured specifically for you, from scratch, according to your individual specification. It is not a ready-made product but an item prepared to your order. For this reason, you are not entitled to the statutory right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.
The above limitation does not affect your rights in the event of the product's non-conformity with the contract.
Warranty and availability of spare parts
Every custom-made BCD set is covered by a two-year XDEEP warranty.
We make every effort to ensure that spare parts are available in versions and colors consistent with the original configuration of your set. However, we cannot guarantee that all elements and colors will remain available throughout the product's entire service life, especially after the two-year warranty period.
If a given element or color is withdrawn from the offer, replacing it may require using a different variant. In such a situation, exact reproduction of the original configuration of the set may not be possible.
